Hmmm, not sure if I can get away with that title at this point, but the post is part of the project I kicked off at the beginning of the year.
I haven’t touched anything 40k related since about April for a few reasons- partly other projects that I’ve posted up either here or on the other blog, and partly because GW’s business practices put me in a grump, but I’m not going to dwell on that.
Instead I’ve spent the last two nights getting the third infantry squad to a point where I’m happy for them to set base on the table.
Finally, after months of sitting there in a half painted state, they ‘will do for now’.
This is the second of the ‘tactical’ squads, and they will be getting a platoon commander and command squad to go with them.
My other platoon is made up of the plasma gun squad and the tank buster platoon commander with melta gunner command squad. They will be receiving the Escher gang for their second squad.
I also redid the bases on my veterans and priest to match the army and remove the name tags I painted on.
Now to sort through the rest of the remaining figures to see what’s next on the painting desk.
